Play Four Leaf CloversDescription:
A single foundation pile is built regardless of suit from ace to king and then from ace to king again with the help of a tableau where you can build both up and down.
Cards:
One standard deck. Since suits don't matter, politaire substitutes a suitless deck of cards..
Goal:
Move all cards to the foundation.
Foundation:
One foundation pile.Any ace may be moved to any empty pile in the foundation.
A card may be added onto the foundation pile if it is one higher than the old top card of the pile and of any suit.Thus, the only card that could be played on a 10 would be a J. You may wrap on the foundation so you can play an ace on a king. After the complete sequence has been built on a pile, you may restart with another ace.
Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved back off..
Tableau:
Thirteen tableau piles of four cards each, splayed downward. All cards are dealt face up.A card may be added onto a tableau pile if it is one higher than or one lower than the old top card of the pile and of any suit.Thus, the cards that could be played on 10 would be 9 or J. You may also play kings on aces in the tableau.
Cards on the tableau that are not under another card are available for play onto the foundation or any non-empty tableau pile.
Empty spaces in the tableau may not be filled.
Only one card may moved at a time, never sequences.
Common Variations:
If the cards are dealt face down, then this is called "Squared Away.
