Rules for Doublets Solitaire
Play DoubletsDescription:
A similar game to Simple Pairs. You remove pairs of cards of the same rank. The only way to bring any strategy into the game is by using the undo button.The name "Doublets" also refers to an unrelated game where you build on a single foundation by doubling. Politaire doesn't implement that.
Cards:
One standard deck. Since suits don't matter, politaire substitutes a suitless deck of cards..
Goal:
Remove pairs of cards of equal rank. For example, a 5♦ could be removed by pairing it with a 5♠You win if you successfully remove all cards.
Foundation:
There a single foundation pile where removed cards are stacked.
Tableau:
Twelve tableau piles of four cards each, splayed downward. The top card in each pile is dealt face up, all others are face down.No building is permitted on the tableau
Cards on the tableau that are not under another card are available for play.
Empty spaces in the tableau are automatically filled with a card from the stock. If the stock is empty, then empty spaces in the tableau may not be filled.
Stock:
The remaining cards form the stock.Cards cannot be manually removed from the stock.
